Magno Mainak
Magno Mainak is a 2009 crime thriller based on the novel of same name by Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay. It was directed by Swapan Ghosal and produced by New Wave Communications. This is the third Byomkesh Bakshi film adaptation. Subhrajit Dutta played Byomkesh while Rajarshi Mukherjee played Ajit. Piyali Munsi, Rupanjana Mitra, Gargi Roychowdhury and Biplab Chatterjee acted in other roles.
Inglourious Basterds
In Nazi-occupied France during World War II, a group of Jewish-American soldiers known as "The Basterds" are chosen specifically to spread fear throughout the Third Reich by scalping and brutally killing Nazis. Zenda (Marathi: เคเฅเคเคกเคพ) is 2010 Indian Marathi film directed by Avdhoot Gupte and starring Santosh Juvekar. Avdhoot Gupte himself composed the music for the film. The film depicts the journey of four young ambitious scholars to succeed in life and the impact of a split in a major political party on their journey. Zenda depicts a feud between two cousins in rival political parties, inspired by the real-life feud between Raj Thackeray, chief of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) and his cousin, Uddhav Thackeray, Executive President of Shiv Sena. Avdhoot Gupte however believes that it is more about the Marathi youth, with just a couple of characters in the movie representing Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray. The film was released in early 2010, in theatres across Maharashtra state.
Little Krishna - The Wondrous Feats
Krishna is most-loved person of the land of Vrindavan, a land known for its peace and tranquility. Vrindavan is constantly being threatened by the evil King Kamsa, who sees Krishna as his nemesis because of a prophecy which indicates that a savior would end the reign of Kamsa. Oblivious to this prophecy, Krishna continues to pull pranks on everyone without realizing the troubles he averts every time. After the taste of failure, an angry Kamsa refuses to give up trying until he has seen the end of Krishna. Bewildered, he sends out demons after Krishna. Will Krishna remain aloof to these threats or will he overcome the demons and save his life?
