Shaheed-E-Mohabbat Boota Singh
The film is set in 1947. The exodus has begun after Partition. A Sikh ex-military man in his thirties finds a 16-year-old Muslim girl alone in a nearby village and brings her home. But the villagers tell him he should either marry her or leave her in a camp where people bound for Pakistan are located. But he decides that since he is far older, he would better leave her at the camp. As he is about to send her off with a man bound for the camp and who is prepared to marry her there, she asks Buta Singh, if he is so poor that he cannot even feed her two Rotis per day to keep her alive...

Malhar (Nana Patekar), who is born to a poor typist clerk, is a versatile character who wins trophies in dramas but is never appreciated by his father. The Legend of 1900
Musician Max Tooney goes to sell his prized Conn trumpet to a music shop, where he plays the instrument one last time. The shopkeeper recognises the song as one on a record matrix he found and asks who the piece is by. Tooney tells the story of an infant found abandoned in the first class dining room of the four-stacker ocean-liner SS Virginian on 1 January 1900. Danny Boodman, a coal-man from the boiler room, names the boy Danny Boodman T. D. Lemon 1900, after himself, the fruit crate the boy was found in, and the year, and raises him as his own.

Ricardo finds himself at the mercy of the local police, who make it clear to him that they have better things to do than look for his missing brother. It is only a matter of time before the hapless trio to realize that their respective hopes and dreams are soon to turn to hopelessness and nightmares - from which there is no escape.

Ramakrishna (Chiranjeevi) is a mechanic whose life changes when he meets Priya (Anjala Zaveri) at a train station. She sees him and feels some inexplicable connection and runs away with him to flee her father, Mahendra's (Prakash Raj) goons. They end up living in the forest with their son, but her father, who is an underworld don, kidnaps her so that he can marry her off to another don's son. Ramakrishna confronts her father and in the ensueing struggle Priya takes the bullet shot at her husband and dies. Their son, because of the shock, loses his voice and Ramakrishna is jailed. Mahendra takes the boy away to Kolkata, where the story originally started. Rama Krishna with the help of Padmavathi (Soundarya) reunites with his son.
